Through abstraction the specificity of individuals or locations becomes less significant than the memories and emotions evoked by the fundamental gestures and forms created by the human body as it moves. While these images contain simple movements of childhood they aren’t informed by nostalgia or idealism. These images allow for more complexity and hopefully more personal reflection.
